By Debra Drexler ============ Pressure/Release This performance is a collaboration between artists Cat Del Buono, Antonia Wright, and Ruben Millares. This will take place in the lobby of the Gershwin Hotel where they will blow up more than 500 balloons non-stop, coming close to passing out a number of times. As the performers tediously blow each balloon up one by one, they become exhausted and engulfed by the very balloons they create. They will also invite viewers to join in and help blow up balloons. Once the balloons fill the area, they will start popping each one, freeing themselves from the smothering masses and all the effort and struggle that was put into them.
