MAP Grand Prize Winner

|
Out of over 500 submissions from around the world 9 finalist were
selected to be presented during Thursdays 1 hour screening and PAM was
overjoyed to hear that PAM artist's Chris Coleman's epic animation The Magnitude of the Continental Divide took the $20,000 grant prize and Hye Yeon Nam's work Wonderland shared in the runner up position along side with an amazing piece called Cardboardia by Dutch artist Sjors Veroort in the competition. All in all the field of submissions were amazing and made it very difficult for the panel to decide on. The $5000 Street Art Award went to Mask from the Brazilian collective 2501 and the Audience Award went to Improve Everywhere for their piece Subway Yearbook Photos.
Other runners up for the Street Art Award include: Pixelator by Jason Eppink and Suspended Garden of Babylon by Jeorge Simas and Filipe Morozini. Artist David Pepe took both the runners up positions in the Audience Award for his pieces Last Kodachrome 40 for a Nizo S800 and Simple Perfect - Future Perfect.
