My thoughts go out to the people living in that reality.
The art of nature always wins over manmade creation.

The REAL Hurricane Katrina Situation (3 months later)

This is a brief video highlighting my recent trip to Bay St. Louis, MS (ground zero for the hurricane). While the media focused mostly on New Orleans, they overlooked the most devasted areas (including BSL).

I recently spent a week down there doing volunteer cleanup with a non-profit group called DISASTER CORPS (www.disastercorps.org). These are the nicest, most generous people you will ever meet.

Not only are they doing the dirty work that the government is failing to do for our own citizens, but they do it out of the kindness of their hearts. They don't get paid, don't get thanked, they live in tents outdoors, and deal with some of the most disasterous conditions you can imagine... on a daily basis.

This video is not much, but hopefully it will motivate a few people to donate to groups like this... or even motivate some to go down and help.
