[PAM] - Perpetual Art Machine at the Utsikten Center in Norway   Vernissage October 3rd  at 7 pm. Show dates: Oct 3 – Nov 30th Open on Sundays 12-6pm and by appointment   In this exhibition we present [PAM] – Perpetual Art Machine, a video installation that captures today’s video art. [PAM] consist of an installation and a net portal, with thousands of videos from more than 600 artists around the world. [PAM] has been exhibited at a numerous art and film festivals in the US and Europe. It is now presented for the first time in Norway, in collaboration with Per Platou / PNEK.(www.pnek.org) For this exhibition the [PAM] installation is on view in the main exhibition hall. In addition to this a rotating curated program will be presented in the main lobby with wireless headphones as well as on th art channel-on the in house system-  accessible on the hotel room TVs.   Utsikten Art Centre is part of Utsikten, a newly established concept that includes an art center, a hotel and a golf park. For more info go to www.utsikten.no Utsikten Art Centre is a new arena for art and technology in the south region in Norway. It was established in may 2008.  It is not an art centre in a traditional sense. Exhibitions are not be limited to the main room, the "Multimedia hall", but will influence the space as a  whole. An exhibition at Utsikten Kunstsenter includes for example the TV in the hotel rooms. On channel 2 we have the chance to exhibit  artwork. In the foyer large projections can be viewed above the main entrance linked to a  wireless headphone system.  For the upcoming season, in the outdoor exhibition arena,  we will begin “Digitial Perspectives”, curated programs of site specific works in new media, sound video and film. “Digital Perspectives”  will begin with an open competition for artists.
