[PAM] is happy to announce that we have been included in this years
Robodock Festival in Amsterdam September 19-22 2007. We are honored to
be included along with Survival Research Laboratories (see their daily Robodock blog), Flaming Lotus Girls and Fellow [PAM] artist Tim Folland to name just a few.
The theme of this years edition is "Rhythm and Time / Ten years
Transformation". This is the guide for the programming and serves as
source of inspiration for the participating artists. This 10th year
edition is celebrated with a festive pick from the highlights of the
past and present, but also looking closely at the future, where
everything is possible. Robodock will show how the festival has evolved
over the past ten years. While it started out as a modest experimental
festival, it is now transformed into a major event, with almost 12,000
visitors in 2006. In these ten years Robodock has evolved into an
internationally renown festival at the fringes of the industrial era!
Tim Folland's video and performance series will be featured at as well. During the four day event he will also be filming a new video titled "Master of Puppets". A rugged little one man show combining elements of american tv commercials with Muppet show chaos. This new work featuring Tim Folland's character creation the Paintor will have a special guest appearance by "Hells Fire" and a short opera performed by "Irish Springs". Be on the look out for its release in the Spring of 2008. For more Information on this and other related projects visit: www.thesmallschool.com

Robodock is a unique international festival with technology, art,
spectacle theatre, multimedia and industrial installations at its core.
In co-operation with artists, technology students, architects,
designers and theatre makers the festival is spectacularly designed by
recycling scrap metal and other industrial waste products. This is an
important part of the Robodock way of working and creating. In short,
Robodock gives the creative industry of Amsterdam a very exciting and
lively identity.
