Some people believe that the conceptual art movement died out back in the 1960s but this isn't true. Many artists working today are working with conceptual art of all kinds. When you think about it, conceptual art encompasses many forms of artistic expression - performance art, minimal art, web art, sound sculpture, land art, and yes, even video art.

Explaining conceptual art to someone is difficult. It's like telling someone what it feels like to eat spaghetti. Umm... or something like that. I consider myself a conceptual artist and a couple of years ago I started an online gallery for myself and othes to exhibit their work. Please visit sometime. The gallery is called the Cincinnati Gallery of Conceptual Art .
