In collaboration with VIDEO BOX, [PAM] the Perpetual Art Machine has curated a select program of video works by both emerging and established LatinAmerican and Chinese artists. Through the use of the Internet, new media and affordable means ofproduction and distribution, international video artists now have the toolsto dissolve the boarders that once marginalized the artists and the art form. Globalization has produced a transcultural convergence that allows theartists to not only break from the classical conception of culture but alsofind a mutual intersection that mixes cultural forms and lifestyles bycutting through the various national and ethnic boundaries previouslydefined by 20th century institutional multicultural spectacles.
