is the centre for streaming media in the framework of
[NewMediaArtProjectNetwork]:||cologne - www.nmartproject.net,
and will open in 2007 - Cinema_C by launching the new show
"Slowtime 2007 - Quicktime as an artistic medium".
Already in 2003, Cinematheque was exploring the artistic potential of the popular streaming videoformat Quicktime as it can be visited in Cinema_B (access via the Cinematheque site).
As Quicktime was undergoing a rapid technological development during the past years, it is time again for exploring the current state of Quicktime and its use as a medium for artistic expressions.

Cinematheque is inviting artists, video and film makers
to submit up to three videos in Quicktime format -
originating from 2004 or later, preferably sized 480x360 px,
but not smaller than 320x240 px, a duration of max. 6 minutes,
and make them available online on a separate webpage for review and download.

Please use this entry form for submitting:

1.name of artist/director, email address, URL

2. short biography/CV (not more than 300 words)
3. 3 work/project max. -->
a) title
b) year of production
c) duration
d) URL for review/download
e) work description ( not more than 300 words)
4. 1 screenshot (.jpeg, max. 800x600 px) for each submitted work

Artists whose videos are selected will be invited to make the video available for download in the size 480x360 px or 640x480 px.

is an Internet based art project about the "disappeared" (desaparecidos) in Argentina and the "Mothers of Plaza de Mayo"
in the framework of the global networking project [R][R][F]2006---XP - http://rrf2006.newmediafest.org - initiated & created by Agricola de Cologne, media artist & New Media curator from Cologne/Germany.

On occasion of 30th return of the military coup in Argentina on 24 March (2006/1976), the project is planned to be re-constructed and re-launched later in the year 2006.

For this occasion, W:MoRiA
is inviting artists not only from Argentina, but any country on the globe
for submitting a proposal in form of an Internet based work, digital video or soundart, dealing with the military dictatorships in Argentina and other South America countries, the persecuted & "disappeared" people, and
how the society, family and friends were reacting on the traumatic experiences.

Es un proyecto de Arte basado en Internet acerca de "los desaparecidos"
en la Argentina y las Madres de Plaza de Mayo incluído en el contexto del proyecto global en red [R][R][F]2006---XP -
http://rrf2006.newmediafest.org
iniciado y creado por Agricola de Cologne, artista multimedial y
curador de Nuevos Medios de Colonia/Alemania.

En ocasión de cumplirse el 30º aniversario del golpe militar en la Argentina el 24 de Marzo (2006/1976), se planea reconstruir y relanzar el proyecto, más adelante durante el año 2006.
