Lee Wells Published in Untagged  by Lee Wells | Comment (0)

Get ready get set goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.....

And they are off to buy over 100 million dollars in contemporary art in the course of the Basel Miami week of art fairs. They say there are over 17 various fairs going on. Kinda crazy art world mecca point. Can the market hold it all together or will signs be seen by all that sales have become deluted. Oh well just so long as the artists are making money thats what really matters. Below I have listed the major fairs that I have found going on.

If you know of anything I missed please let me know and I'll add it on.

Split Film Festival Rocks

Lee Wells Published in Untagged  by Lee Wells | Comment (0)

Trying to start fnding the time to start logging on with whats been going on. PAM is on fire and our scheduals are filling up through next year very rapidly.  We will probably be returning to Split 2-3 more times in the next year. We have been asked to organize an exhibition of new media art for th Split Media Arts Center. Reciently renovated, the museum quality space has 30 foot cielings and a dynamic layout. More to come on that. We also have invitations to take the show on a national tour throughout the country.

By far one of the most beautiful places in the world. The people, the food ,the landscape and weather.  The perfect combination of everything mixed with a cutting edge international film and video program of the festival. Split is an undisturbed gem with a deep love of culture and art that has gone back 1000's of years.

Put it on your to do list.

More to come

For as much as I would like to be critical  I cant seem to find a video on this site that I would consider lacking in quality and creativity. Keep up the good work everyone and thank you for being a part of the fun.

There is more to come.
