My last night in Tokyo. The sound of percussion from the rain water on crushed up Kirin cans and this beautiful green light in Ueno. I had to enjoy the moment. I felt happy in the rain shooting and recording this. This piece presented itself to me walking at night in the rain in Tokyo.

Created at Experimental Television Center 2.12-2.17-08 with the Wobulator and the Dave Jones colorizer. Assisted by Hank Rudolph. Soundtrack constists of ambient sound by ( )
mixed with live environmental sound from the river and other enviromental and industrial sounds via microphone out the window. The sound is affecting the movement of the image. The sound is running through the mixer with a +/- oscillator and is being modulated through a Korg analog synth. The volume of the sound is controlling parameters on the Wobulator through the Dave Jones colorizer. A live shot of the Susquehanna River with floating ice floes is mixed
with the Wobulator processed version of the same image. |

This video was shot on my bicycle handlebars. I was riding my bike from Chinatown to 23rd street. I felt very manic that day as I often do in New York City. |
