Born and raised in Munich, Germany, Andreas Troeger
has been living in New York City since 1992, when he was awarded a DAAD
scholarship to study film at NYU. He has edited over 600 Broadcast TV
episodes, realized over 10 independent films, documentaries and created
numerous internationally shown video installations - many of them in
association with Nam June Paik.
Intrigued by the avant-garde he collaborated early in his carrier with performers such as (Alexeij Sagerer,
Minimal Club,
Lennie Johnson,
Angela Dauber, Elke Rindfleisch and Rachel Cohen), video artists (Paul Garrin and Nam June Paik) and filmmakers (Iara Lee and Nick Zedd) alike.

is an element in almost all of his works. He provokes the viewer on a
visual and acoustical level. As a virtuoso of camera, sound and editing

He graduated from the Film
Academy in Munich and studied additional film productions at NYU.
Previously educated in computer technology he became involved in many
cyber space projects as the Internet evolved.
Currently he works for New
York Broadcast Television and creates documentaries, fashion videos,
promotionals and avant-garde films.
