Matthew Parrish received his B.A. in English with minors in Philosophy and Education from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA and is currently attending the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA for graduate studies in "painting" (media arts) and if all goes as planned, will graduate in December 08.

Matthew was born in Philadelphia, PA in 1983 and has lived in New Jersey for most of his life. He runs the University of the Arts Summer MFA blog located at http://sumfa05.blogspot.com. His research specialty is Intentionalism...the study of the relevance of the artist's intentions in the evaluation of artwork.
