Shanna Maurizihas been making experimental films and installations that explore site and landscape since1990. Her films have been screened at Craig Baldwin’s Other Cinema, SanFrancisco Cinematheque, CitySpace, Documental Film Series, Rotterdam Kunsthal,and reviewed by Manohla Dargis at the LA Weekly. Most recently she has beenincluded in the program for Video in the Built Environment in London, TheArchive Project at the Israeli Center for Digital Art, and the Tank andOcularis in New York. Currently she lives and worksin Brooklyn making films, photographs, and myriad ambitious underfundedprojects.
