| Title 1 Description: |
Didgeridu and Dreamtime imagery. The inspiration for Walamundun-gari (Follow along creek) is a love song from the Australian Aborigine of Arnhem Land. A didgeridoo (traditional Aboriginal musical instrument) is used for the soundtrack. Visuals of the natural world are woven with images of shadow theater and a dreamtime painting to reveal the tracking and discovery of the aesthetic spirit in nature.
Dedicated to Eddie Kneebone of the Pangerang people. Film and music by Thomas Ardizzone |

Hi Thomas!
Thanks for the comment - I didn't know about it (I was out from the world w/ illness for a while) until yesterday.
I don't hear a lot of digeridoos in my day to day but I find them intriguing. Very cool work!
Best,
Christy

Thanks Thomas, I appreciate your comments. We share a news background and at times, I think it gives us a unique, un-postmodern empathy towards violence and suffering in the world. I try to work through this issue in my art videos whenever I can. After listening to your video piece, I am facinated by the didgeridoo. You used it to great effect. Do you own one? Is it difficult to play? It's sound is hypnotic and primal. I want one. -Tim

I appreciate your kind words on my videos, Thomas.
I've checked your "Walamundun" - very... inspired indeed; don't know if you'd be interested in sending it to Videolab...
